Cha Eun Woo to Lead in New Action-Comedy Film “First Ride”
According to a local media outlet on April 3, Cha Eun Woo had been cast as the lead role in director Nam Dae Joong’s new film “First Ride” (working title).
In response to the report, the actor’s agency, Fantagio, stated,
“Cha Eun Woo recently confirmed his appearance in the movie “First Ride,” which he was offered. Thank you for your interest and love, and please continue to support Cha Eun Woo.”

The upcoming film “First Ride” revolves around four long-time friends with different personalities and careers. Since their school days, they have longed to travel abroad together. Now, as they enter their 30s, they make this dream a reality, leading to a series of unexpected events.
This film will be director Nam Dae Joong’s new work. He is known for his works “The Last Ride” (2016), “Homme Fatale” (2019), and “Love Reset” (2023).
Previously, Kang Ha Neul was confirmed to lead the movie. Notably, this movie will mark the reunion between the actor and director Nam Dae Joong after their hit movie “Love Reset,” which attracted 2.16 million moviegoers.
Actors Kim Young Kwan, Kang Young Seok, and Han Sun Hwa will also appear in the movie.
Currently, there is no further information about the beginning of the production and release date.

In addition to his dramas, he starred in the film “My Brilliant Life” as a supporting actor and guest in the 2022 hit movie “Decibel.” Furthermore, the upcoming movie will be his first lead role in a film.
The singer-actor is currently filming Netflix’s comedy series “The WONDERfools.”
