Storyline
“Melo Movie” is a rom-com drama that follows two young people, Ko Gyeom and Kim MuBee. Both are struggling to achieve their dreams, figuring out their lives, and love. They support each other while helping each other to overcome past traumas.
Ko Gyeom (Choi Woo Shik) is a former actor who became a cinephile and film critic. Meanwhile, Kim MuBee (Park Bo Young) is a film director who used to hate movies and wanted to make an awesome melo movie.
This rom-com series also features the second couple, Hong Si Jun and Son Ju Ah. Hong Si Jun is a composer who believes he is a genius and is struggling to succeed. Meanwhile, Son Ju Ah is Hong Si Jun’s ex-girlfriend who returns as a writer for screenplays.
