Here Are CJ ENM 2023 Visionary Honorees: Park Eun Bin, IU, Lee Jung Jae, and More

On January 4, CJ ENM released 10 names of Korean entertainment figures who will represent the Korean entertainment industry this year. So, let’s check out the pioneering figures who have been selected as CJ ENM 2023 Visionary honorees and will lead the innovation and trends in the entertainment industry in 2023.

CJ ENM 2023 Visionary

Since 2020, the leading entertainment company CJ ENM has awarded visionary entertainment figures who delivered new visions that inspire the entertainment industry.

The honorees of CJ ENM Visionary were selected using data analysis, global indicators, and expert reviews. In addition, the selection criteria for the “Visionary” are:

Possessing an unprecedented achievement in the Korean entertainment industry,
Vast influence and impact in various fields and even outside the entertainment industry.
Changing the stereotypes and creating new values.
Unique creativity that creates new characters and genres.
Global influence.

Besides using data-based analysis for objectivity, 60 CJ ENM members with professional insight regarding content production and business participated in the selection process of CJ ENM 2023 Visionary honorees.

CJ ENM 2023 Visionary Honorees

This year, ten entertainment figures from the entertainment industry were selected for the Visionary honorees. They are actress Kim Hye Soo, director/producer Na Young Suk, actor Ma Dong Seok, actress Park Eun Bin, creator/director Park Chan Wook, Kpop singer/actress IU, Kpop group (G)I-DLE, actor Lee Jung Jae, director/producer Lee Jin Ju, and film/TV writer Chung Seo Kyung.

Actress Kim Hye Soo and Director Park Chan Wook were selected as the ones who inspire the entertainment industry and creators with their unrivaled skills.

Meanwhile, singer-actress IU (Lee Ji Eun), actor-director Lee Jung Jae, and drama/movie writer Jung Seo Kyung are figures who have achieved cross-border achievements from one field to another.

Furthermore, with their talent and unique creativity, PD Na Young Seok, actor Ma Dong Seok, and actress Park Eun Bin have invented new and unique genres and characters.

And finally, producer Lee Jin Ju and Kpop girl group (G)I-DLE opened up new opportunities, becoming rising stars that the industry should pay attention to.

Actress Kim Hye Soo

Last year, with her extraordinary talent, actress Kim Hye Soo managed to play two remarkable characters in two Korean dramas, Juvenile Justice and Under The Queen’s Umbrella.

Director Park Chan Wook

Korean film director Park Chan Wook has won various awards at home and abroad with his directed film, Decision to Leave.

Singer-Actress IU

Meanwhile, IU, whose real name is Lee Ji Eun, managed to maintain her profession as a singer and actress last year. Last year, the singer successfully held a concert called Golden Hour. In addition, her role in the film Broker attracted more praise from international audiences and the media.

Actor-Director Lee Jung Jae

Lee Jung Jae is an actor who succeeded in becoming a global actor through Squid Game. Last year, he challenged himself as the man behind the scene with his first directorial film, Hunt.

Writer Jung Seo Kyung

Chung Seo Kyung is one of the top writers in South Korea. Her latest drama that became a hit was Little Women. Director-Producer Na Young Suk

Actor-Producer Ma Dong Seok
