South Korean native and London-based Kpop rapper, ARTLOVER, is getting attention from Kpop fans for her recent single release. She has unveiled her new single ‘redmOOn (레드문).’ Let’s get to know ARTLOVER from before debut to now.
Who is ARTLOVER (아트러버) in Kpop?
ARTLOVER is a female Kpop rapper who is currently living in London. She debuted on March 2, 2018, with debut single ‘Want U Back.’ Not long after her debut, ARTLOVER made her first comeback with her first mini-album, ‘Queen of Retro.’ A year later, she released ‘Heart of Stone.’
Before getting into music, ARTLOVER had a successful career as a make-up artist with clients such as Vogue and Elle.
ARTLOVER new single ‘redmOOn (레드문)’
On September 28, ARTLOVER made a comeback with another single, ‘redmOOn (레드문).’ The song narrates a story about love destiny with an oriental feel and classical fuzz guitar sound.
“As love existed in the past, I hope that love stays in the future, this song is about the cycle of love.”
ARTLOVER
‘redmOOn’ gives such a retro and nostalgic vibe, especially at the singing part. However, the guitar solo elevates the energy of the song. ‘redmOOn’ is a fantastic choice for your new playlist.
