The 39th Golden Disc Awards (GDA) Winners in 2025
On January 4 and 5, 2025, the 39th Golden Disc Awards were held over two nights at Fukuoka’s PayPay Dome in Japan. The live broadcast of the shows was canceled due to the Jeju Air flight tragedy. However, the pre-recorded Day 1 event will air on January 6 at midnight KST. Meanwhile, the pre-recorded Day 2 event is scheduled to air on January 7 at 1:20 a.m. KST.
The artists who released their songs and albums between early November 2023 and early November 2024 were eligible for this year’s awards.
On the first night, the Golden Disc Awards honored the artists whose digital songs were the most prominent in 2024. The performances from aespa, BIBI, Close Your Eyes, Crush, Day6, ILLIT, Kiss of Life, LE SSERAFIM, NewJeans, (G)I-DLE, and TWS further brightened the ceremony on the first night.
Meanwhile, the second night recognized the artists who achieved incredible success with physical albums in 2024. A dazzling lineup of performers, including ENHYPEN, GFriend, IVE, Izna, NCT Wish, NOWADAYS, SEVENTEEN, TXT, (G)I-DLE, Yuqi, and ZEROBASEONE, rocked the stage.
This year, SEVENTEEN and aespa each received a Daesang (Grand Prize). aespa won the Daesang for the Digital Song of the Year with “Supernova,” while SEVENTEEN took home the Deasang for the Album of the Year with “SPILL THE FEELS.”
