Earlier this year, Kpop fans were surprised by the news that “Big Hit Japan Global Debut Project” would include 5 I-LAND trainees. One of the trainees who would debut this year is K. Here are some facts about K you need to know.
K FACTS!
1. K was an I-LAND trainee from Japan
Born on October 21, 1997, K is originally from Japan. Until now, Kpop fans still wonder what K’s Japanese name is.
2. K was the tallest I-LAND trainee
Among his I-LAND friends, K is the tallest trainee. His height is 182 cm (6 feet 2 inches).
3. K’s real name is still a mystery

Until now, the mystery of ‘who is the real name of K?’ still hasn’t been solved. No one knows it yet. However, K has been nicknamed a Tsundere. The nickname was given because of his coldness at the first impression, but he is actually an affectionate, friendly, and cute person.

One of the other facts about K is that he loves running and dancing. K was a marathon runner in high school. In an interview, he said, “I think about what I will eat when I’m done (running marathon).”
Due to his athletic abilities, he was awarded a full scholarship. However, he didn’t accept it and choose dancing instead.
7. K learned dancing in the USA
Before going to Korea, K specially trained in Dance in the USA.

Yes, tteokbokki is his favorite food! And K also drinks lots of loose-leaf tea. It is essential for you that your dating partner (read: K) doesn’t really like coffee. Oh, and he also avoids alcohol to keep his voice in good condition.
9. K has already had a fandom name
Though K didn’t make it to debuting with ENHYPEN, he has already had a fandom. His fans name themselves as Keiys. Well, Keiys, now K is going to debut with Big Hit Japan this year!
10. K is a messy-eater
The fact you have to accept is that K always spills food when he eats.
