The director of Kdrama Beyond Evil, Shim Na Yeon, will reportedly direct the most anticipated Song Hye Kyo and Han So Hee’s new drama.

According to Newsen, on February 23, director Shim Na Yeon was chosen to helm the new drama The Price of Confession or The Master of Confession.
On August 2022, director Lee Eung Bok of Goblin was introduced as the director of the new drama The Prince of Confession. The project is expected as the second project with Song Hye Kyo after their previous work on Descendants of the Sun (2016).
However, director Lee Eung Bok reported has stepped down from directing the project due to scheduling conflicts and other issues early this year. Currently, he is working on the second and third seasons of Netflix’s hit Kdrama series, Sweet Home.
Director Shim Na Yeon received recognition for her sensual and detailed productions in JTBC’s Memories of Midsummer and Moment of Eighteen. She also carefully describes the psychology of various human figures involved in the cases in Beyond Evil, which won Best Drama at the 57th Baeksang Arts Awards. Currently, director Shim Na Yeon is directing Netflix’s Korean drama The Good Bad Mother, starring Ra Mi Ran, Lee Do Hyun, Ahn Eun Jin, and Yoo In Soo.

Powerful Female Korean Drama Director and Leads
The upcoming thriller-mystery drama The Price of Confession follows the blood chronicles of two women involved in the murder investigation. Two prominent actresses, Song Hye Kyo and Han So Hee, are expected to appear in the drama. Their appearance has made the expectations for this drama sky-high.
Song Hye Kyo has successfully transformed herself into the character of Moon Dong Eun in the drama The Glory. Meanwhile, Han So Hee has risen to the top with Netflix’s hit drama My Name.
