3rd Week of May 2023 – Most Buzzworthy Korean Drama and Actor Rankings
The most buzzworthy Korean drama and actor rankings in the 3rd week of May 2023 by the Good Data Corporation were determined by aggregating data from various sources, including news articles, blog posts, online communities, videos, and social media discussions related to both currently airing and upcoming dramas.
DOCTOR CHA Korean Drama Remains Unchallenged
Continuing its dominance for the third consecutive week, JTBC’s popular medical drama, Doctor Cha, claimed the top position. The captivating storyline and outstanding cast’s performances garnered immense praise, solidifying its position as the most popular Korean drama of the week.
Moreover, the drama’s lead stars had also maintained their positions in the top 10 most buzzworthy drama actors list. Actress Uhm Jung Hwa continued to win the hearts of viewers and retained her position at No. 1 on the drama actor list, closely followed by actor Kim Byung Chul at No. 2. Meanwhile, actress Myung Se Bin remained at No. 7, followed by actor Min Woo Hyuk at No. 8.
SBS’s Dr. Romantic 3 continued its successful run and secured the No. 2 spot in this week’s drama ranking, with lead actor Ahn Hyo Seop rose to No. 5 on the drama actor list.
Furthermore, tvN’s Tale of the Nine-Tailed 1938 maintained its position at No. 3 on the most popular Korean drama list. Notably, three cast members from the drama, Lee Dong Wook, Kim So Yeon, and Kim Bum, secured the No. 3, No. 6, and No. 9 spots, respectively, on the most buzzworthy drama actor list.
Impressively, JTBC’s The Good Bad Mother claimed the No. 4 spot in the top drama list, with actors Lee Do Hyun and Ra Mi Ran ranked at No. 4 and No. 10, respectively, in the drama actor list.
Furthermore, KBS2’s My Perfect Stranger rose to the No. 5 position, completing the top five popular dramas in the third week of May. Additionally, ENA’s new romantic comedy, Oh! Youngshim debuted on the most buzzworthy drama list at No. 10, adding fresh excitement to the rankings.
