E'LAST North America Tour Was A Disaster, Agency to Take Legal Action

On May 20, E Entertainment announced that the E’LAST New York concert had been unexpectedly canceled. The agency stated they had tried their best to figure out how to proceed with the show. However, their hands were ‘tied’ by MC Entertainment without unilateral information.

As a result, E Entertainment would be taking legal action against MC Entertainment, who allegedly failed to provide proper treatment for the E’LAST North America tour, including airplane tickets, hotel rooms, concert venues, and more.

E Entertainment’s complete statement is as follows:

Hello, this is E Entertainment.
We are announcing that E’LAST concert in New York, which was the final stop of the “THRILL” North America tour, has been canceled.
During the past month or so that we have been on tour, MC Entertainment has not fulfilled various parts of their contract, such as not having booked airplane tickets or hotel rooms, not having made proper preparations in advance at concert venues, pressuring [E’LAST] to hold concerts at venues where it would be impossible to hold a concert and more. However, out of consideration for the local fans who had been waiting for this tour, both our agency and the artist tried as much as we could to proceed with the concerts whenever possible.
In the case of New York, just one day before the concert, MC Entertainment unilaterally informed us of the cancellation. Because both our agency and the artist felt strongly about wanting to proceed with the concert, we tried to find whatever method we could [to hold the show], but MC Entertainment has already made it so that our hands are tied, and we ultimately determined that it will be difficult to move forward [with the concert].
We will take all legal action against this breach of contract, and we decided to take legal action against MC Entertainment to prevent these kinds of incidents from occurring in the future.
To the fans who have been waiting [to see E’LAST], we thank you and ask for your understanding.

What Happened to the E’LAST North America Tour?

The sudden cancellation of the E’LAST New York concert seems to be the peak of the problems during their two-week tour. MC Entertainment, a local promotion company based in Puerto Rico, was responsible for organizing the E’LAST North America tour. Unfortunately, however, bad things have happened during the tour.

E’LAST kicked off their THRILL North America tour with a concert in Los Angeles. Although the show seemed to go well with all the enthusiasm from ELRINGs, many concertgoers complained about MC Entertainment’s handling of the event. Some of them reported to have been scammed.

According to fan accounts, the concert started over three hours late. Not only that, it ended less than two hours later, and fans were kicked out without receiving merchandise that they had already paid for. Moreover, the meet-and-greet and hi-touch events scheduled after the concert never occurred.

E’LAST concerts in Brazil and Mexico City were also canceled. According to MC Entertainment, the Brazil concert was canceled due to its unpopularity – only 165 tickets were sold. Meanwhile, the company revealed that they didn’t get the permits on time in Mexico City, resulting in the concert cancellation.

Additionally, the E’LAST Atlanta concert was canceled at the very last minute due to safety concerns. When the show was about to begin, it was announced that the makeshift stage that had been set up was not safe for the idols to use. Although ELRING was concerned about E’LAST’s member’s safety, they felt disappointed by the sudden cancellation. However, despite being at fault, E’LAST members kept apologizing to fans during the following fan signing and hi-touch event.

It Happened with Other Concerts

Since the news broke, FOR X (OMEGA X fandom) also spoke up on social media about how they received the same treatment from MC Entertainment during the OMEGA X’s 2022 OMEGA X WORLD TOUR [CONNECT: Don’t give up] – sudden cancellation and scamming.

While you're at it too, we request you offer a response to all of the FOR X still awaiting merchandise from the Omega X tour! They're fully aware of the situations that developed because of Spire but you did promise merchandise that was not delivered upon.

It apparently has been known that MC Entertainment had lots of problems in Puerto Rico. As a result, some Puertorican fans have been denouncing the company through social media.
