The shifting blame has finally begun. Just like any other Kpop dispute, JYP Entertainment USA released a statement, blaming former VCHA KG for the lawsuit she filed against the company. The company puts each and every possible blame on the idol, but VCHA KG doesn’t hold back. In fact, in her latest statement, she claimed to have prepared real evidence to support her accusation against JYP. Check out the escalating debate and read how VCHA KG and JYP started shifting the blame below.
Former VCHA KG and JYP Entertainment Began Shifting Blame in Each Statement
The dispute between former VCHA member KG and JYP Entertainment has escalated into a show of shifting blame and playing innocence from both parties.
On December 8, the USA subsidiary of JYP Entertainment responded to former VCHA KG accusations with a statement on VCHA’s X (formerly Twitter) account.
In the statement, JYP USA revealed that former VCHA KG had apparently left the group’s residence back in May. Then, the statement also debated KG’s previous accusation. It said that the company had tried to work things out with KG’s team. And yet, they still hadn’t heard back from KG. That is until suddenly, KG publicly announced the lawsuit.
And yet, at the end of the statement, JYP USA began to shift the blame on KG’s side. The company also said KG’s statement was full of “false and exaggerated claims.”
An Escalating Debate – Is She Entitled to the Real Evidence?
Following the official statement from JYP Entertainment USA, former VCHA KG responded in her IG story.
In the statement, she was clearly disappointed with JYP Entertainment for not taking responsibility for the situation. Not only that, but KG also made it clear that she—along with her legal team—is ready to provide real evidence to back up her claims.
Yet, it has become a giant question whether KG is entitled to provide this real photographic evidence as she claimed.
After all, in the previous statement, she clearly mentioned that her leaving VCHA was based on an incident happening to the other members. While KG stated that she would never support such a living situation, what evidence could she possibly provide for this dispute?
Unlike the case of NewJeans, where all members gathered and agreed to leave the company, KG made this decision by herself. She left VCHA and all the remaining members, forcing them to go on a hiatus at such a crucial time.
If the accusation were proven true, then KG would be one of the present-day heroines who had taken real action against the dark side of Kpop. However, what kind of evidence will she provide? Will she be dragging another VCHA member into this dispute?
