EXO KAI to Debut Solo with 1st Mini-Album 'KAI (开)' on November 30

Another member of EXO, Kai, is making a solo debut soon. Marking his solo debut, SM Entertainment will release EXO Kai first mini-album ‘KAI (开)’ on November 30.

Kai debuted as a member of EXO in 2012 and SUPERM in 2019. He is one of the talented male idols who has a strong visual and ability as the main-dancer, sub-rapper, and sub-vocalist.

Fans are highly anticipating Kai’s solo debut following the success of Baekhyun, Chen, Suho, and Lay’s solo career. With the release of Kai’s mini-album ‘KAI (开)’ soon, EXO Kai will be the fifth member of EXO to make a solo debut.

Back in December 2018, answering a question from a fan in an interview with DJ Moon Hee Jun on KBS Cool FM’s Moon Hee Jun Music Show, he revealed his plans to have a solo album without further details.

In January 2020, he also revealed his solo plan in an interview with Top Chinese fashion blogger GoGoBoi.

The album KAI (开) will consist of six tracks with various genres. According to SM Entertainment, Kai’s album will open a new world of music, performance, and style.
