Earlier in December 2023, Jennie unveiled her ODD ATELIER (OA) label. She stated that she created the company to “attract attention in a different way from what is usual or expected.” However, it turns out to be unexpected, not in the way she might have anticipated.
The Highly-Anticipated Move from Jennie and her new label ODD ATELIER
Since the announcement of OA by Jennie, there’s been a high level of excitement for new releases among followers. Just a few weeks after founding her own company, reports suggest that Jennie Kim of BLACKPINK is already gearing up for a forthcoming solo song.
However, distinguishing between authentic content and imitations has become a concern for some. OA’s legitimate Instagram account is @oddatelier, with a link to the official website. Regarding YouTube, the OA website currently acknowledges only Jennie’s channel in the artist section. Apart from this, OA’s main page confirms Instagram, Facebook, and X (previously known as Twitter) as its official social media platforms.
Fake ODD ATELIER (OA) YouTube Channel
However, an OA YouTube channel named @oaentertainmentofficial has amassed 124,000 subscribers.
And, more than 938,000 views on a trailer labeled as “official” featuring Jennie.
Some online users have noted that this trailer seems fan-created, but many others appear unaware. Instead, comments on the trailer are brimming with accolades and support for Jennie.
When this article was composed, the @oaentertainmentofficial YouTube channel had gained 196k subscribers. The channel also posted another video, an OA teaser, which quickly garnered 235,600 views in a day.
Fans Attempt to Alert OA Team
On X, followers actively identify and highlight fake OA social media profiles to alert the OA team.
