BABYMONSTER Leads February 2025 Rookie Idol Group Brand Reputation Rankings
From January 4 to February 4, 2025, the Korean Business Research Institute extracted 12,197,575 pieces of new Kpop idol group brand big data and analyzed it for February’s rookie Kpop idol group rankings. However, compared to 13,012,882 pieces of new Kpop idol group brand big data in January, the number dropped by 6.27 percent.
The institute used the latest rookie Kpop idol group brand big data in consumer behavior analysis. In this analysis, they assessed the participation, media, communication, and community indexes to determine the rookie idol group’s brand reputation indexes and established February’s rookie idol group rankings.
As a result, the new Kpop girl group BABYMONSTER ranked first, followed by rookie idol groups TWS, BOYNEXTDOOR, QWER, and ILLIT, which dominated this month’s top five list.

1. BABYMONSTER

BABYMONSTER skyrocketed to first place on this month’s new Kpop idol group rankings. The group successfully kicked off their first World Tour, “Hello Monsters,” with a massive audience at the KSP Dome in Seoul for two days, January 25-26. The girl group left the audience with a deep impression with their live performance skills, proven with hand microphones.
This month, the rookie girl group achieved an impressive brand reputation index of 1,692,919. This number increased by 113.52 percent, rising from 792,854 in January. Additionally, their latest music video, “Really Like You,” and the announcement of an exclusive performance video for their hit track, “Billionaire,” have increased the excitement for the group’s first world tour in 2025.

In link analysis, the institute found the words “proven,” “release,” and “breakthrough” to be the group’s most popular related terms. In keyword analysis, the institute discovered “Billionaire,” “World Tour,” and “Monsters” as the most popular keywords. Additionally, in the positivity and negativity analysis, the group achieved a positive score of 90.43 percent.
2. TWS
TWS members, who celebrated their first anniversary last January 22, dropped to second place this month. Despite the drop in ranking, the group’s brand reputation index rose by 9.01 percent, increasing from 1,437,650 in January to 1,567,254 in February. 3. BOYNEXTDOOR

KOZ Entertainment’s rookie idol group, BOYNEXTDOOR, currently on the “KNOCK ON Vol.1.” World Tour in Asia, rose to third place this month. The group’s brand reputation index increased by 36.63 percent, rising from 836,042 in January to 1,142,320 in February, with the following breakdown:
- Participation Index: 237,258
- Media Index: 322,880
- Communication Index: 445,393
- Community Index: 136,789
4 QWER
Girl band QWER, set to hold a fan concert in Tokyo this April, remained in fourth place. The band’s brand reputation index fell by 14.96 percent, dropping from 1,119,094 in January to 951,643 in February. Here’s the breakdown of the latest brand reputation index:

5. ILLIT

BELIFT’s rookie girl group, ILLIT, who won the Rookie Artist of the Year at the 39th Golden Disc Awards and earned three nominations at the iHeartRadio, fell to fifth place this month. The group’s brand reputation index dropped by 39.56 percent, from 1,196,861 in January to 723,354 in February, with the following breakdown:
