The Kpop controversy of the year reaches a tragic ending as FIFTY FIFTY members now disband after becoming the victims of Ahn Sung Il’s scams and manipulations. Not only that, but FIFTY members also face more immediate issues after ATTRAKT sued them in a new lawsuit. Dive deeper into the complete explanation behind the tragedy of FIFTY FIFTY lawsuit update below.
FIFTY FIFTY Lawsuit Reaches Tragic Finale: Members Disband and Victims of Scam in a New Update
The long and excruciating lawsuit between Kpop rookie group FIFTY FIFTY and their agency ATTRAKT has now reached a tragic ending.
All this time, FIFTY FIFTY has turned against their own agency without realizing that they’ve been victims of an alleged scammer. As a result, members of Kpop dark horse FIFTY FIFTY would eventually disband and face a more severe lawsuit from former agency ATTRAKT.
Previously, FIFTY FIFTY initiated their lawsuit by requesting contract termination from ATTRAKT. Yet, the company didn’t abide by the request because they believed the girls were used by The Givers’ CEO Ahn Sung Il. That is why ATTRAKT wished that FIFTY FIFTY members would end their lawsuit and return to the company.
Now, both sides eventually achieved what they wanted.
One of the FIFTY members, Keena, eventually returns to the company and reveals everything that happened to them. As a result, ATTRAKT decided to terminate the exclusive contract of the 3 remaining FIFTY FIFTY members, Saena, Sio, and Aran.
With this tragic lawsuit update, FIFTY FIFTY members have no choice but to disband.
FIFTY FIFTY Keena Ends the Lawsuit by Returning and Revealing What’s Behind the Scene with the Members
The tragic finale of the FIFTY FIFTY lawsuit began after one of the members, Keena, returned to the agency, ATTRAKT. Along with her return, Keena began revealing everything behind the scenes. And this revelation includes how The Giver’s CEO Ahn Sung Il has scammed FIFTY FIFTY members into suing their own company.
Ahn Sung Il Has Been Out for Blood: Compelling FIFTY FIFTY Members into Suing Their Own Agency
According to Keena’s interview with Dispatch, Ahn Sung Il has been out for blood against ATTRAKT CEO Jeon Hong Joon. He persuaded Kpop group members FIFTY FIFTY to file a lawsuit against ATTRAKT and forbid the members from communicating with the company.
At the beginning of the lawsuit, Ahn Sung Il even allegedly went as far as forcing Keena to fake a COVID-19 test. He sent a photo of a positive COVID-19 test and asked Keena to send it to ATTRAKT CEO Jeon Hong Joon.
“3 days before we were supposed to send the certification of contents to ATTRAKT, Mr. Ahn Sung Il told us it would be best to stop doing any more work from then on. We had to move out of the dorm before sending this certification, so I was feeling distraught and rushed.
Then, Mr. Ahn Sung Il sent us a picture showing a positive COVID-19 test, telling me to send it to ATTRAKT.
He explained that if you test positive for COVID-19, the company tends to leave you alone and not watch you closely. They were using the time people spent in quarantine after testing positive. Since we were planning to sue, we thought this was a good idea.
Mr. Ahn Sung Il also advised us to avoid meeting with the company. Our lawyers told us the same thing — that we shouldn’t talk to the company at all.
Keena.
The strategy worked, and Ahn Sung Il had more time to prepare for the lawsuit against ATTRAKT. He kept encouraging FIFTY FIFTY members that they made the right decision with the lawsuit, but only to leave them unattended.
Ahn Sung Il Deceived and Left FIFTY FIFTY Members During the Lawsuit
Furthermore, Ahn Sung Il initially promised to help FIFTY FIFTY members during the lawsuit process. But it was all just empty promises.
Since the beginning, Ahn Sung Il instigated the members and their parents to sue ATTRAKT. He promised them that he had crucial evidence that would guarantee their win.
However, everything was a lie. Once the lawsuit started, Ahn Sung Il did not give them the correct evidence. Instead, he cut contact with the members altogether.
What’s worse, Ahn Sung Il even forged the members’ signatures to reduce their copyright distribution from 6.5% to 0.5%.
“I learned from a news article that he had cut my share of the copyright earnings from 6.5% down to 0.5%. The signature on the form to change the copyright distribution was fake – it wasn’t mine.”

Ahn Sung Il Was an Expert Manipulator
According to Keena, Ahn Sung Il had all the FIFTY FIFTY members completely in his palm since the first day of the lawsuit. That’s because he had been manipulating the girls from the beginning.
Ahn Sung Il kept showing up in the group chat, checking up on the girls and bragging about how he got them into Billboard. He then encouraged the girls, praising them, and said their song would keep rising because he had planned everything himself.
This triggered attachment and gratefulness from FIFTY FIFTY members.
Then, Ahn Sung Il made ATTRAKT a common enemy by complaining about CEO Jeon Hong Joon. He stated that ATTRAKT had been dragging them down because the company lacked funds.
Therefore, when Warner Korea wanted to buy FIFTY FIFTY from CEO Jeon, Ahn Sung Il seized the chance himself. He didn’t tell CEO Jeon about the plan but told FIFTY FIFTY members that CEO Jeon had rejected the offer.
Since members of Kpop group FIFTY FIFTY didn’t understand what buyout meant, Ahn Sung Il dragged their parents into the case. He kept saying he only wanted what’s good for them.
All the members wanted was to continue their activities, but Ahn Sung Il made them prolong the lawsuit instead. He manipulated the girls and their parents, so it seemed that all the decisions were made by them. While, in fact, Ahn Sung Il was the one who instigated them.
“I’m the one who raised you. I was responsible for getting you on the Billboard charts. I used my money to produce your music video and purchase your song.
CEO Jeon Hong Jun doesn’t care about you; he only focuses on getting investment funds. And remember, that investment is essentially a debt you’ll need to repay.”

No More Lenience: ATTRAKT Terminates Contract with Kpop Group FIFTY FIFTY + Proceeds with Legal Action
On the other hand, once Keena revealed everything to the company, ATTRAKT decided to welcome her return. CEO Jeon Hong Joon asked Keena to take a break to rest and reflect on her wrongdoings.
“You need to take some time to think about your mistakes. I’m not sure how long it’ll take, but it’s important that you do it. That’s because you can only grow into a more mature person after this reflection.
I, too, have done things I’m now ashamed of in my youth. That’s a part of growing up. So, in the future, avoid going into dark or damp places. If you find yourself in such a situation, it usually means something is not right. Try not to put yourself in bad places for your physical and mental well-being.”

Meanwhile, Dispatch reported that ATTRAKT finally terminated its contract with the remaining members. Moreover, the company vowed to take decisive legal action against everyone behind the lawsuit.
“Excluding Keena, we have informed three members of Kpop group FIFTY FIFTY – Saena, Sio, and Aran – about the termination of their exclusive contracts as of October 19.
We made the decision because the 3 members left without permission only to break the contract, defame, and slander the agency. Also, they were unwilling to acknowledge or rectify their breach of contract.
Also, ATTRAKT will take strong legal action against all parties behind the conspiracy.
Additionally, member Keena has been persuading the 3 members since last July to undo the mistake. As she returns to the agency, we are grateful to Keena for having the courage to confess the truth.”

New Lawsuit Update: The Givers CEO Ahn Sung Il and Director Baek Face Police Investigation
And so ATTRAKT delivered their promise in a shocking update of FIFTY FIFTY lawsuit.
On October 22, Xports News reported that The Givers’ CEO Ahn Sung Il and Director Baek Jin Sil had faced an official police investigation. They eventually attended the investigation on October 24 and 25 at the Gangnam Police Station.
This investigation was a follow-up action of ATTRAKT’s decision to sue them for
- obstruction of business,
- damage to electronic records,
- breach of trust,
- embezzlement,
- forgery of private documents, and
- use of forged documents.
FIFTY FIFTY Will Disband, But 3 Remaining Members Continue Suing ATTRAKT CEO
Despite Keena’s revelation and return, the 3 remaining FIFTY FIFTY members refused to disband the union. Instead, they continued their allegations against ATTRAKT CEO Jeon Hong Joon via Instagram.
Through an Instagram account they created, FIFTY FIFTY members Sio, Saena, and Aran complained about how ATTRAKT had paid another company’s debt. They demanded an explanation about the company’s role in FIFTY FIFTY’s prepayment, which ATTRAKT refused to give them.
Therefore, 3 remaining FIFTY FIFTY members refuse to disband the union. Instead, they raised further issues and disagreements about their profits’ distribution. They uploaded the data previously used in their lawsuit to their Instagram and Twitter accounts.
The members now have to disband the Kpop group FIFTY FIFTY and face another lawsuit from ATTRAKT. However, they still do not give up and continue suing the agency, even when the court has dismissed their injunction appeal.
ATTRAKT Proceeds with New Girl Group Audition Program
Eventually, both parties have no choice but to disband Kpop group FIFTY FIFTY today. While the 3 members insisted on their fixation in the lawsuit, ATTRAKT seems to have moved on.
After receiving a large investment from Evergreen Group Holdings, ATTRAKT now proceeds with the audition program for their new girl group.
This audition is a collaboration project between ATTRAKT and JTBC. And they have signed the memorandum on October 26.
At last, ATTRAKT has decided to disband the members of Kpop group FIFTY FIFTY, but do you think the new project will also be a success? And what will become the future of the remaining FIFTY FIFTY members who insisted on continuing the lawsuit?
After all, in less than a year, FIFTY FIFTY has experienced everything: a shining debut, skyrocketing fame, and tragic downfall. Do you believe everyone has had the ending they deserve?

I think we need some explanation from the agitator Jeff Benjamin
FIFTY FIFTY is not disband but 3 members being terminated and the group will be reorganised. New girl group is another project.
It was Saena, not Keena who sent the covid test.
On second thought,
Actually don't know who sent it but from what I've seen and read, it was supposedly showing a covid positive test for Saena. Netizens think it was actually a positive test from Ahn Sung IL who had covid previously. Also Dispatch did some detective work and figured digital forensics that the photo of the test kit was taken at Ahn's residence.
In the case of FIFTY FIFTY and Mr. Ahn Seong-il's fraud, with the help of a fraudster named Jeff Benjamin, he spread false information to overseas fans and framed the victim as the perpetrator. Ultimately, the victim, CEO Jeon Hong-jun, attempted suicide. Everyone who spread lies without knowing anything should be held accountable. Jeff Benjamin was the instigator. He is not a K-pop expert. It's a scammer.
