In a KBS interview on December 28, Netflix “Squid Game” Director Hwang Dong Hyuk revealed that the core plotline for Season 2 would revolve around the main character, Seong Gi Hun.

According to the director, “Squid Game” main character, Seong Gi Hun (played by Lee Jung Jae), will expose everything about the organization behind the game. The core plotline of “Squid Game” upcoming Season 2 will be about the people Seong Gi Hun encounters and pursues.

During the interview, Director Hwang Dong Hyuk also stated that he was still discussing “Squid Game” Season 2 and Season 3 with Netflix, as well as its plotline. And they would be concluding very soon.
