BIGBANG G-Dragon decided to sign with Galaxy Corporation after suffering an unavoidable betrayal from YG Entertainment during his drug allegation case. In his first steps of working with the new company, G-Dragon revealed his detailed plans for JUSPEACE, a foundation he built for drug eradication purposes.
On December 25, OSEN reported G-Dragon’s specific plans regarding his JUSPEACE foundation. This announcement is a follow-up action after announcing his plan through a handwritten letter at the press conference with Galaxy Corporation.
After being acquitted of his unfair drug allegation, BIGBANG G-Dragon felt the calling to support the victims related to drugs. This becomes the main reason why he decided to establish JUSPEACE.
“Having experienced this event, I witnessed something entirely new to me.
I came to understand a profoundly saddening reality: each year, around 20,000 people are found guilty of drug offenses, and there’s a troubling rise in young people involved in drug-related crimes. Yet, astonishingly, fewer than 500 of them have access to treatment in rehabilitation centers.
I’m motivated to tackle these drug issues, especially for vulnerable young people and those who are unfortunately heading in a harmful direction. I aim to provide access to treatment for those who lack it. My goal is to contribute meaningfully, acting as a guardian, whether as an elder or younger sibling or even as a coworker.
Through these efforts, we can sow the seeds of a dream for a world without prejudice. By promoting campaigns for peace and a world free of bias, and by engaging in various activities alongside talented artists and fans globally, we can foster a vision of unity and understanding.”

All About JUSPEACE
In the follow-up announcement, the fashion icon G-Dragon eventually unveiled details on his drug eradication foundation, JUSPEACE.
According to the announcement, JUSPEACE stands for JUSTICE and PEACE. It is the main value of the foundation that they also put into the slogan: protecting the peace and love of justice / justice of love. The same slogan was also GD’s closing remarks in his recent letter.
In addition to establishing the JUSPEACE foundation, BIGBANG G-Dragon revealed the foundation’s initial funding of 300 million KRW (231,356 USD). This funding came from the BIGBANG rapper alone, but he donated the name of VIP, BIGBANG’s fandom name. This funding also reflected GD’s gratitude for the endless support from his fans he previously stated.

BIGBANG G-Dragon and His Future Plans with the Foundation
Finally, with the establishment of the JUSPEACE foundation, BIGBANG G-Dragon aims to spread awareness about the importance of social issues among his fans and provide hope and opportunities to the youth.
Furthermore, he aspires to stand with those suffering from prejudice and injustice, promote awareness and solutions for social issues, and work towards creating a fair society where everyone treats others equally.
For this purpose, G-Dragon is selecting experts from healthcare, public policy and administration, welfare, and culture to participate in an advisory committee. Once the committee finalizes, it will set the direction for public welfare activities.
