The thrilling Korean movie “Ghost Train” (2025), also known as “The Grotesque Train” (“괴기열차”), is set for this July premiere! The movie is a gripping new collaboration between the legendary director Tak Se-woong, known for the horror mystery film “Devil in the Lake,” and the creative genius Jo Ba-reun, the man behind the horror mystery thriller “Ghost Mansion” (“괴기맨숀”). Produced by DMIX STUDIO and M.A.P. (making A print), this movie is sure to keep you on the edge of your seat from beginning to end.

Gripping Storyline

Da-kyung is a YouTuber who loves sharing horror stories. When her channel’s subscribers are decreasing, she’s desperate to find something new to create a viral hit. So, she teams up with Woo-jin, a producer and content creator, to investigate a terrifying rumor that’s spreading like wildfire.

Their investigation leads them to the mysterious Gwangrim Station, where they meet the stationmaster. He shares the station’s dark secrets, including strange and unsettling incidents that have happened at the station.

As Da-kyung begins documenting these supernatural events, her videos go viral, fueling her obsession with the station’s dark secrets. Seeing her dangerous obsession, the stationmaster makes a terrifying suggestion: for the best content, Da-kyung must board the ghost train herself and face the horrors firsthand.

Accepting the challenge, she turns on her camera for a horror investigation livestream, determined to capture the ultimate proof for her audience. And guess what? As the train doors close, she discovers the rumor is not just true—it’s a terrifying nightmare with no escape!
