On January 9, the 29-year-old actress Go Min Si has been confirmed to take the leading role in the new drama by Hong Sisters. This new drama will be Go Min Si’s second project this year following her upcoming rom-com drama, “Your Taste.”
In response to the casting news, Mystic Story, Go Min Si’s agency, confirmed the news. They said that she would appear in the new drama by the Hong Sisters. And they also mentioned that she was currently preparing for filming. Meanwhile, the agency stated that the project details had not been decided yet.
On the same day, the 27-year-old idol-actor Cha Eun Woo was reportedly considering starring in the same drama project.
Hong Sisters – Rom-Com Masters
This casting news has sparked excitement among Kdrama fans, as the Hong Sisters have been recognized for their works since 2005. The acclaimed writers Hong Jung Eun and Hong Mi Ran, known as the Hong Sisters, made their debut with the drama series “Delightful Girl, Choon Hyang.” Since then, the screenwriting duo has been behind numerous hits, including “Alchemy of Souls,” “Hotel Del Luna,” and “My Girlfriend is a Gumiho.”
