JTBC’s exclusive report on July 5 revealed that Alchemy of Souls actress Go Yoon Jung had been cast in a new drama by Hospital Playlist director Shin Won Ho PD. According to the report, the new drama’s production team selected the gorgeous actress as the main character of this upcoming project.

NOT a HOSPITAL PLAYLIST Spin-Off

So, what is Go Yoon Jung’s new drama about, and what character will she play this time? Unfortunately, this highly-anticipated project is still completely confidential.

Last month, StarNews reported that Hospital Playlist would get its very own exciting prequel. The report also mentioned that the five main characters of the series, originally played by Jo Jung Suk, Jeon Mi Do, Jung Kyung Ho, Yoo Yeon Seok, and Kim Dae Myung, would return in their younger versions. And these younger versions of the characters will appear with the portrayal from different cast members.

In response to the report, tvN issued a contrasting statement.

According to tvN, it was true that Hospital Playlist director Shin Won Ho PD was working on a new project. In this project, the brilliant director will showcase his brilliance as its creator. However, the new project had nothing to do with Hospital Playlist or even its prequel.

Instead, this new project is an entirely new drama that was still in the early stages of production. And the production team was currently working on auditioning the actors.
