On January 31, Jaedam Media announced that it had signed a contract with The Contents On, a drama production company. This collaboration will produce a drama adaptation of the popular webtoon “God’s Butler” by Cho Joo-hee and SECAN STUDIO.
“God’s Butler” Plot Overview
“God’s Butler” is a tale set in the modern age where immortals coexist with human beings. It follows Blue Dragon, Baekho, Jujak, Hyun-moo, and Hwangryong, who were born 1600 years ago and coexist with humans.
Eun-hwa, the female lead, is reluctant to become Hyun-moo’s butler. Hyun-moo, who woke up after 400 years, also doesn’t need Eun-hwa. However, she encounters attacks and becomes entangled in mysterious events. The story raises questions about why other immortals suddenly attack and what secrets they are hiding. “God’s Butler,” also known as “The Deacon of God,” is currently gaining popularity on Naver Webtoon Maeil Plus.
