The Storyline
The upcoming drama series centers on Hee Wan, a 24-year-old woman who has lost her will to live. Her childhood friend and first love, Ram Woo, returns as a grim reaper. The romance drama series explores their reunion one week before their deaths as they confront hidden secrets from their past and uncover the true essence of love and life.

Kim Min Ha as Jung Hee Wan
The 28-year-old actress Kim Min Ha will take the role of Jung Hee Wan, a woman facing death after wasting her youth in loneliness.
The upcoming drama marks her return to acting on the small screen. Previously, Kim Min Ha is known for her role as Kim Sun Ja / Sun Ja in “Pachinko,” the 2022 Apple TV original Korean drama.
Gong Myung as Kim Ram Woo
Gong Myung will play the role of Kim Ram Woo. Ram Woo is a grim reaper who appears in front of Hee Wan six years after his own death. Together, they embark on a heartfelt journey to fulfill Hee Wan’s extraordinary bucket list before her impending death.

The upcoming fantasy romance drama “A Week Before I Die” is the first OTT project from CJ ENM’s film division. It is a Korean romance drama based on the novel of the same name by author Seo Eun Chae.
Roh Deok, renowned for her work on the popular Korean drama “Glitch,” will join as a creator. Meanwhile, director Choi Ha Na, who made her director debut with “More Than Family,” will direct the highly anticipated series.
The production team expressed their excitement, saying, “We hope this highly anticipated drama adaptation of Seo Eun Chae’s novel to convey warm comfort and sympathy to viewers, as Hee Wan and Ram Woo will fulfill their bucket list in the last week of their lives.”
TVING will exclusively premiere the fantasy romance drama series “A Week Before I Die” in 2025.

Following “Pachinko,“ Kim Min Ha is all set to make her silver screen debut in the crime thriller movie “Pokro.”
The movie narrates the tale of two childhood friends who reunite after two decades. One as a murderer and the other as a police officer. You can also see her other hits, “School 2017” and “The Call.”
Meanwhile, Gong Myung will feature in Netflix’s original series “Mercy for None.” It is an action mystery drama based on the webtoon “Plaza Wars.” Moreover, he will also appear in the upcoming action comedy film “Citizen of a Kind.”
