It was just recently we faced the blooming romance of EXO Tao and Xu Yiyang, as well as the controversial upcoming marriage of soloist HyunA and ong Junhyung, not to mention the ongoing rumors of BLACKPINK Lisa and Frédéric Arnault, another couple has finally emerged!
On August 8, Korean media outlet News1 revealed an exclusive report that prominent actress Han Ji Min had been in a dating relationship with Choi Jung Hoon, the vocalist and key member of South Korean indie rock band JANNABI.
After the relationship went public, both the agencies of Han Ji Min and JANNABI Choi Jung Hoon responded with official statements, confirming the dating report.
“Actress Han Ji Min and Singer Choi Jung Hoon have recently developed a romantic relationship.”

Born in 1982, Korean actress Han Ji Min has been incredibly famous with extensive projects in both Korean movies and dramas. Meanwhile, JANNABI vocalist Choi Jung Hoon, born in 1992, has been the key member of the group, who successfully shaped the band’s unique sound, which blends retro rock with modern indie influences.
How Did They Meet?
So, how in the world do these two celebrities meet? With the 10-year age gap and completely opposite origin backgrounds, it is truly unexpected that the two Korean stars would form such a close bond!
According to the News1 report, as well as a statement from Choi Jung Hoon’s agency, the couple first met on KBS program, “The Seasons: Choi Jung Hoon’s Night Park,” in August 2023.
At the time, Han Ji Min appeared as a guest on the show. Then, the couple performed a duet on “Our Blues” OST by 10CM as well as one of JANNABI’s songs, “A Thought on an Autumn Night.”
Han Ji Min also revealed that she had attended JANNABI’s concert and stated that she had been a fan of the group. Hence, Choi Jung Hoon expressed his wish for a guest who appreciated his music to appear on his show.
And so, Han Ji Min and Choi Jung Hoon eventually met on “The Seasons” and developed their feelings into a romantic relationship based on their interest in music.
According to Dispatch report, the couple usually went on dates around the studio, with Choi Jung Hoon, famous for his dedication to his music work, meeting Han Ji Min nearby most of the time.
An eyewitness even snapped some photos for Dispatch, catching the couple having a cozy tea time at a café in Seorae Village. Their matching vibes made them stand out, even from afar.
