Disney has announced the upcoming production of “Soundtrack #1” Season 2 with the title of “Soundtrack #2”. However, unfortunately, Han So Hee and Park Hyung Sik will not return for the new season. “Soundtrack #1” Returns for Season 2: “Soundtrack #2” without Han So Hee and Park Hyung Sik
The success of Disney+ original series, “Soundtrack #1”, has brought a fresh new trend in the Korean drama industry with only 4 episodes. “Soundtrack #1” has proved that fully-packed and short-paced plots and storylines are exceptionally enticing for OTT platform dramas with the right cast members and cinematography.
Hence, Disney decided to seize the chance and created a new production of “Soundtrack #1” Season 2 with a new title: “Soundtrack #2”.
On November 30, Disney conducted the 2022 Disney Showcase Part 2 at the Marina Bay Sands, Singapore. During the show, Disney announced that the “Soundtrack #1” original series would return for a Season 2 next year. And they will call it “Soundtrack #2”.
However, the bad news is the new series will return without its original cast, actress Han So Hee and actor Park Hyung Sik
Why Will Han So Hee and Park Hyung Sik NOT Return?
While the announcement of its season 2 is a pleasant surprise for fans of “Soundtrack #1” it may not be such good news for fans of Han So Hee and Park Hyung Sik couple. Why? Because there is a high chance that Han So Hee and Park Hyung Sik may not return for “Soundtrack #1” Season 2.
According to a Disney representative at the event, “Soundtrack #1” will return for a season 2 with a brand-new cast and storyline. Therefore, it means that “Soundtrack #2” may not be a continuation of Han Sun Woo and Lee Eun Soo story. That is why it is highly possible that Han So Hee and Park Hyung Sik will not return as cast in “Soundtrack #1” Season 2.

“Soundtrack #1” Season 2 Involves the Best Kpop Songs – Possible Idol Actors as Cast?
Not only that, Disney also stated that the “Soundtrack #2” new series would involve the best selections of Kpop songs. So, does it mean we will see Korea’s top idol actors/actresses as its new cast members? Or are we going to see fresh acting debuts of new actors and actresses?
One thing is for sure is that Disney has promised to maintain the elements that skyrocketed in the previous season. And even though Han So Hee and Park Hyung Sik may not return for the new season, let us hope they will make a special appearance as cameos.
