Han So Hee, Song Hye Kyo, Director Shim Na Yeon Reportedly Turn Down New Drama THE PRICE OF CONFESSION
The Glory star Song Hye Kyo and My Name star Han So Hee received the cast offer for The Price Of Confession Korean drama on August 2022. At the same time, director Lee Eung Bok of Goblin was announced as the director who will helm the upcoming drama.
Unfortunately, director Lee Eung Bok reportedly stepped down from the series earlier this year due to scheduling conflicts. Then, director Shim Na Yeon of Beyond Evil was offered to direct the upcoming drama.
On May 17, Newsen1 exclusively reported Han So Hee and Song Hye Kyo, who were in talks and expected to work together, have decided not to participate in the upcoming new Korean drama The Price Of Confession.
According to the report, after a long and careful deliberation regarding the drama, both actresses decided not to participate in the upcoming show due to disagreements with the production team. Meanwhile, director Shim Na Yeon, who was also courted to helm the series, has reportedly declined the offer.

In response to the reports, Han So Hee’s agency 9Ato Entertainment conveyed,
“In response to the reports of Han So Hee cancelling her participation in The Price of Confession, we are currently in process of checking the facts and so it’s currently difficult to confirm.”

Meanwhile, Song Hye Kyo’s agency UAA remarked,
“It is hard to confirm Song Hye Kyo’s performance cancellation in The Price of Confession. Please contact the production company for detailed information.

According to the OSEN report, Studio Dragon, the production company of the upcoming drama, stated,
“Our co-production company, Production H, exclusively manages everything about casting. So, we know nothing in this regard.”

“It’s quite a big project, and we’re in the process of gathering as many views as we can. We’re going to take some time to reorganize for now, and we’ll let you know as soon as it’s organized.”

The Price of Confession centers around two women named Ahn Yoon Su and Mo Eun. Ahn Yoon Su is a modest art teacher who dreams of a happy life. Meanwhile, Mo Eun is quiet and reserved woman. And due to her secretive nature, she is feared by many and has no friends.
One day, Ahn Yoon Su was involved in a dreadful murder case. Amid her confusion and fear, she gets help from Mo Eun. She appears to be an essential key in Ahn Yoon Soo’s life. They then work together to solve the murder case.
Originally, Song HyeKyo was supposed to play the role of Ahn Yoon Su, while Han SoHee was to play Mon Eun.
Han Soo Hee and Song Hye Kyo Continue to Show Affection through SNS
Prior to the reports of cancellation, Song Hye Kyo posted a photo of herself in The Glory filming location as the character Moon Dong Eun on March 16. Surprisingly, Han So Hee wrote a comment, “You are mine now…,” which put their fans in a frenzy.
Moreover, Han So Hee also posted a monochrome picture depicting her and Song Hye Kyo in a mirror reflection on Instagram Story and tagged The Glory star Song Hye Kyo. Soon after, Song Hye Kyo re-posted the picture on her Instagram Story by adding a heart to Han So Hee’s name.
The sweet interactions between the two actresses on SNS have drawn the attention of their fans. It also has raised the K-drama fans’ expectations for their chemistry in their first drama collaboration. Yet, the rumors that both actresses and the director are dropping the upcoming drama are regrettable and disappoint fans.
After the reports, Han So Hee surprised the fans with her flirty message to Song Hye Kyo’s recent Instagram post, “Still mine.”
