The King of OST and JYJ Kpop Boy Group member, XIA Junsu, is taking a leap of faith in his career journey. After working with the agency for over ten years, XIA Junsu is finally moving forward.
On November 9, the media reported an update that JYJ member XIA Junsu is leaving his C-JeS Entertainment agency. Following this report was an official statement from C-JeS Entertainment confirming Junsu’s leave.
“Hello, this is C-JeS Entertainment.
As of today, our management contract with Kim Junsu has ended. Our company and Kim Junsu have shared various touching moments for over a decade based on mutual trust. We are happy to have accompanied Kim Junsu on his journey, as he reached valuable achievements as a singer, including his world tour and stage performances as a musical actor.”

An Update of JYJ XIA Junsu Independence
In addition to the above confirmation, JYJ XIA Junsu agency also explained that the artist is planning to become independent in his future activities.
“Artist Kim Junsu is planning to become independent in his effort to continue his future activities. Therefore, even though our management business with Junsu has ended, moving forward, we will still continue to collaborate and help him.

After Leaving C-JeS, Junsu Establishes His One-Man Agency: PALMTREE ISLAND
Following the update and confirmation of JYJ XIA Junsu leaving his agency, another report emerged that the artist has decided to set up his own one-man agency, “PALMTREE ISLAND”. A while after the update circulated on the internet, JYJ XIA Junsu uploaded a post on his Instagram, confirming the report with an official announcement.
In the Instagram post, JYJ XIA Junsu explained that he had put a lot of thought and preparation to this decision for a long time. Finally, he decided to build his own agency to create a comfortable place called “PALMTREE ISLAND”, where he could be with his fans. Besides, he also expressed his gratitude to C-JeS Entertainment, who had been working tirelessly with him as a family.
Finally, he asked for support for his new start with “PALMTREE ISLAND”, where he will work hard and do his best.
Why did Junsu Choose the Name “PALMTREE ISLAND”?
Along with his personal announcement, an agency source also explained that “PALMTREE ISLAND” was named after Junsu’s favorite plant. They hoped that with this name, they could also carry a message: “We won’t cease and will continue advancing until this process we take based on the same dream finally succeed.”

Update on JYJ XIA Junsu Possible Appearance in FIRST KBS Variety Show After a Decade
Following the announcement of his one-man agency, PALMTREE ISLAND, JYJ XIA Junsu will possibly appear in a KBS variety show under his new agency. If this appearance is confirmed, it means that Junsu will finally appear for the FIRST time after a decade.
According to the media reports, XIA Junsu will participate in filming the KBS World variety show, “Guide map K-ROAD”. In this show, Junsu will be enjoying various Busan attractions with fellow musical actor Son Jun Ho. Along with the two of them, folk singer Lim Ji Hoon will also be joining the show.
