Min Heejin conflict and drama have yet to reach their finale, but HYBE is already preparing the new CEO and management for ADOR.
On May 12, a post circulated in Korean online communities that HYBE had been preparing for the new CEO and management for ADOR. This is particularly shocking because the giant corporation seems to be in full-force preparation to kick out CEO Min Heejin.
By selecting a new set of ADOR CEO and management even before the conflict and drama with Min Heejin ends, the public sees that HYBE has no intention of having a proper discussion or reaching a mutual agreement with Min Heejin.
After all, by owning 80% of the stake in ADOR, HYBE basically has the power to dominate the label with any decisions they make. Therefore, it is highly likely the company will impose this domination in the voting rights to eventually remove the current ADOR CEO, Min Heejin, and inaugurate their very selected management.
Previously, HYBE revealed their plans to kick out Min Heejin from ADOR. The company would conduct an interim shareholder meeting with plans to dismiss Min Heejin from the NewJeans label. They would also reportedly share evidence of Min Heejin’s betrayal and her plans to take over the company.
Responding to this plan, NewJeans producer Min Heejin will reportedly refute all the accusations. She would also demand HYBE to honor the original contract, stating that Min Heejin will stay ADOR CEO and NewJeans producer for 5 years.
