MNet’s Kpop audition variety show, I-LAND 2: Final Countdown, has revealed its final contestants. The selected members from I-LAND 2 will now have the opportunity to debut as a new seven-member girl group named “izna” under THEBLACKLABEL.

The final episode of the girl group audition show “I-LAND 2” has announced its members. Koko, Yoonji Yoon, Bang Jeemin, Choi Jungeun, Ryu Sarang, Mai, and Jung Saebi will debut as a new Kpop girl group, “izna.”
The I-LAND 2: FINAL COUNTDOWN aired on July 4 afternoon KST, with twelve contestants making it to the final round. Seven of the twelve contestants were selected for the debut lineup. Viewer-favorite Choi Jeongeun topped the fan votes, joined by Bang Jeemin, Yoonji Yoon, CoCo, and Yoo Sarang. Mai, picked by producers, completes the team.
Initially planned as a six-member group, mentor Taeyang added another member for a seven-member debut. Jung Saebi was the final pick. Jung Sebi expressed gratitude and promised to work hard in this new opportunity.
The new Kpop girl group “izna “is gearing up for its debut under the supervision of Teddy, the head of THEBLACKLABEL. He is a producer famous for his work with the renowned group BLACKPINK. They seem to be gearing up to release a new song this year.
The project group introduced by CJ ENM usually has a short 2-year contract. Yet, “izna,” with its in-house trainees, has a longer 7-year exclusive period, allowing for stable team management.
In addition, the group is gearing up for their debut performance on a special stage, featuring I-LAND 2’s signal song ‘FINAL LOVE SONG,’ at the 2024 KCON LA “M Countdown” on July 28, 2024.
