As a result, BTS Jimin, BIGBANG G-Dragon, BLACKPINK Rosé, BTS Jungkook, and BLACKPINK Jennie dominated the top five K-pop idol brand reputation rankings for July 2025.

TOP 5
1. BTS Jimin: From “Cake Fairy” to Chart King
Still holding strong at #1 on the K-pop boy group members this month, Jimin also holds the first spot on this month’s individual K-pop idol brand reputation rankings following his military discharge in June. His brand reputation index increased by 17% from the previous month to 8,183,409 in July. So, what’s fueling this sky-high score?
The answer is that it all began when he completed his mandatory military service in June. This special event brought enormous fan celebrations around the world. His return to the public eye has heightened fan anticipation for the group’s full comeback in 2026.
Recently, the “Like Crazy” singer hosted a live stream with fans via Weverse from Los Angeles, updating his fans on his life after military service with personal stories and plans. These moments allowed fans to feel close and appreciated. This connection translated into a standout positivity rating of 94%, making public favor practically unanimous.
Keywords linked to Jimin, like “Who,” “cake fairy,” and “ARMY,” show just how affectionate and devoted fans are. Meanwhile, his related phrases such as “overwhelming,” “no rival,” and “unchanging” underscore his enduring presence as an icon in the K-pop world.
“Who,” “Cake Fairy,” and “ARMY”

Jimin’s solo single, “Who,” just spent 50 weeks on the Billboard Global 200 and the Global Singles Excluding the US chart, where it peaked at No. 108 and No. 66, respectively. This overwhelming achievement makes him the first Asian artist to have two songs remain on both charts.
But he’s not just breaking records—he’s melting hearts! On ARMY’s birthday (July 9), he surprised fans on Weverse with a sweet selfie, complete with a doodled cake and candle. This move is classic “cake fairy,” a nickname he earned for his sweet tradition of bringing cakes to celebrate the members’ birthdays and other special moments.
2. G-Dragon: The Unshakeable Icon
Proving his lasting influence, K-pop icon G-Dragon secured the #2 spot on this month’s idol brand reputation list. His index surged by 8.39% to 6,056,259. You may not see him in the headlines every day, but his impact is undeniable. When he makes a move, it’s always major, which keeps everyone talking.
The “Power” singer was named as the promotional ambassador for the 2025 APEC Summit in Gyeongju. This appointment coincides with the K-pop legend’s comeback to the music scene and “Übermensch” world tour.
G-Dragon is one of Korea’s leading artists, who is famous for his out-of-the-box concept. As we know, G-Dragon and KAIST collaborated to send music to space. Therefore, he’s the perfect figure to represent APEC’s values of connection and innovation to the world.
3. Rosé: Mastering the Solo-Group Balance
BLACKPINK’s Rosé surged to third place with a brand reputation index of 5,780,067, a jump of nearly 11% since June. This increase is because she’s been everywhere, crushing both her solo work and group activities.
On the solo front, she dropped a new collaboration, “On My Mind,” with Alex Warren. Then, during BLACKPINK’s L.A. tour stop, she brought out Bruno Mars for a surprise performance of “APT.” This crowd went wild.
At the same time, she’s making headlines with her bandmates on the massive “DEADLINE” world tour, and they just released a new hit single, “JUMP.”
Fans are loving the hustle. Rosé is perfectly mastering her solo career and her role in the group balance. Rosé is staying right at the forefront of the K-pop world.
4. BTS Jungkook: Unwavering Influence

Jungkook holds steady at fourth place this month. While his brand reputation index saw a slight 5.87% dip to 5,131,314, his connection with fans is unwavering.
From Los Angeles, he and Jimin have been actively engaging with ARMY on Weverse, updating them about their preparations for the group’s 2026 comeback. As if that wasn’t enough to keep excitement high, he dropped a surprise on everyone: a new Instagram account, @mnijungkook.
5. BLACKPINK Jennie: Steady Beat

Jennie rounds out the top five this month, with her brand reputation index seeing a nearly 20% dip from the previous month, which is likely due to a recent lack of solo activities. Still, with BLACKPINK’s ongoing world tour constantly making headlines, she remains a highly visible and influential figure.
