To beat the COVID-19 spread in Indonesia, Indonesian BTS ARMY, who joined the Senyum ARMY (Smile ARMY) fans club, has organized a vaccination program called “Stay Gold is for the Vaccinated” for 10,000 people.
Indonesian BTS ARMY in Senyum ARMY Fans Club Held Vaccination Program Called “Stay Gold is for the Vaccinated” to Fight COVID-19.
The Indonesian BTS ARMY held a vaccination drive to intensify vaccination with local authorities and several Indonesian private companies. The event took place at the Jakarta Convention Centre (JCC) on July 31. Moreover, the government provided 10,000 Sinovac doses for people starting from the age of 12 and above.
The vaccination drive called “Stay Gold is for the Vaccinated,” inspired by BTS’s song, “Stay Gold,” co-composed by BTS Jungkook. The BTS’ “Stay Gold” lyrics show that the song is about fighting negativity with positive energy.
As reported by CNN Indonesia, the representative of Senyum ARMY, Selly Wilson, stated,
“Senyum ARMY is supporting the government’s vaccination acceleration program. We want to encourage the urgency of vaccination to protect the ARMY and their families during this pandemic.”
She added,
“We expect that vaccination will be able to break the COVID-19 chain of transmission, so that enables us to resume our activities more easily in the future.”
BTS Arts Exhibition in Covid-19 vaccination program
The design of the vaccination program venue was unique as it displayed like BTS Arts Exhibition. In addition, there are paintings of BTS members and an art installation called “Stay Gold is for the Vaccinated.”
The BTS arts exhibition will be available for viewing at the Jakarta Convention Centre until August 8, 2021.
Besides art installations and paintings of the BTS members, the BTS concert video was playing on big screens inside the venue. So, the people who were getting their COVID-19 vaccine shots could enjoy it while waiting. Indeed, in this environment, those who come to be vaccinated will feel less anxious.
