On February 5, just as the day turned to midnight KST, Kpop soloist IU gave us a first look at her 6th comeback mini-album “The Winning” with a creative tracklist reveal. The video cleverly resembles an online shopping cart, showcasing 5 exciting tracks, including lead singles “Shopper” and “홀씨 (Dandelion Spore)”, as well as “Shh..,” “Love Wins All,” and “I Stan U.”
Then, the teaser ends with a brief moment of IU’s soothing voice, teasing, “Oh I want all I must have all, all.” And this has been triggering massive excitement among fans.
It has been a public secret that IU took a complete charge in creating “The Winning” comeback album. Starting from writing songs to fine-tuning production details, she will be showcasing the complete ingenious versatility that has bring her to the top of Kpop scenes for over a decade. Her collaboration with composer Lee Jong Hoon on “Shopper” continues their history of creating hit tracks together. Together with another famous composer, Lee Chae Gyu, IU and Lee Jong Hoon also worked on “홀씨 (Dandelion Spore),” blending their talents in music and lyrics.
