Jang Nara Opens “The Bread” (“The 빵”) – a Special Bakery on SBS
After marrying her non-celebrity husband in 2022, actress Jang Nara has a passion for home baking. She often creates homemade cookies and chocolate cakes and shares these treats with her family and fans.
She shared her enthusiasm for baking. The actress describes the world of bread as filled with alluring, savory, and sweet flavors. Furthermore, she highlights the aroma of baking as truly captivating; “the more you bake it, the more amazing the world you fall into it.”
As a result, she has decided to open Jang Nara’s bakery (“The 빵”) in the SBS special in the SBS special food documentary in December. This timing is perfect for the festive season right before the end of 2024.

Previously, Jang Nara appeared on SBS Radio Power FM’s ‘Power Time’ to promote the drama “Good Partner.” During that show, she expressed, “If I’m born again, I want to try running a bakery. I’m baking at home,” revealing her unique ‘love of bread.’
In her upcoming show “The Bread,” she wants to explore making all the trendy breads in Korea. She will delve into the secrets behind the popularity of various baked goods with professional bakers. From bagels to savory bread and cookies, she aims to show viewers the endless charm of bread.
Additionally, she has developed a signature menu that reflects her unique personality. She plans to share her distinctive cake recipe, “Rabbit Living in the Land of Snow,” with the audience.
Save the date! Jang Nara’s special bakery, “The Bread,” will only open twice in December 2024. The show will air on the SBS special food documentary on Sundays, December 15 and December 22, at 11:05 PM.
