SEVENTEEN Leads Kpop Boy Group Brand Reputation Rankings in January 2025
The Korean Business Research Institute conducted a consumer behavior analysis of 62,649,153 brand data related to boy group brands from December 11, 2024 to January 11, 2025. Compared to the Kpop boy group brand data in December 2024, the number increased by 24.91 percent to 58,026,385.
According to the analysis results, the top five Kpop boy groups for January 2025 are SEVENTEEN, BTS, BIGBANG, NCT, and Stray Kids.

1. SEVENTEEN
The thirteen-member group SEVENTEEN, who is set to hold the SEVENTEEN RIGHT NOW World Tour in Asia starting this January, continues to lead the top 50 Kpop male idol groups in January 2025, with a brand reputation index of 8,366,546. Compared to the brand reputation index of 6,106,152 in December 2024, this marks an increase of 37.02 percent, as detailed in the following breakdown:

- Media Index: 1,212,780
- Communication Index: 2,968,223
- Community Index: 3,991,619
Furthermore, in the link analysis, the institute found the words “performing,” “recording,” and “making a comeback” to be related to the group. Meanwhile, in the keyword analysis, “carat,” “Boo Seok Soon (BSS),” and “album” emerged as the most popular keywords. Additionally, in the positive/negative ratio analysis, the group achieved a positive score of 91.96 percent.
2. BTS
The seven-member group BTS rose to the second place. The group achieved a brand reputation index of 6,856,676 in January. Compared to the brand reputation index of 4,533,725 in December 2024, the number impressively increased by 51.24 percent, as detailed in the following breakdown:

3. BIGBANG
