Award-winning international artist and powerhouse Billie Eilish made a profound connection with her South Korean fans through an immersive listening experience of “Hit Me Hard and Soft” hosted by Spotify. Surprisingly, Jennie Kim appeared as a surprise guest at the event.
Spotify Brings Billie Eilish and Her South Korean Fans in An Immersive Listening Event
On June 18, Billie Eilish returned to South Korea for the first time in two years to host an exclusive listening event of “Hit Me Hard and Soft” with Spotify held at Théâtre des Lumières in Seoul. Spotify’s event connected the artist and hundreds of her South Korean fans, providing an intimate artist-fan engagement moment and an immersive listening experience of her latest album, HIT ME HARD AND SOFT.
The immersive experience followed the success of the inaugural listening session at Lightroom in London this past May, showcasing Spotify’s ongoing commitment to connect artists and their fans with unique culture-driving moments.
Billie’s South Korean fans first dived into Billie’s world at the event. They immersed themselves into the artist’s latest musical journey through a one-of-a-kind visual listening session of the album, plunging deeper into the concepts and music.
BLACKPINK Jennie Made a Surprise Appearance
The event also brought fans and the artist even closer with an engaging Q&A session, where fans got a chance to have a deeper conversation and insight into Billie’s creative journey. Global superstar JENNIE KIM also made a surprise guest appearance for Billie and her fans, moderating the Q&A session to celebrate the night unforgettably.
