What is Behind BTS V and Jimin “Dumpling Incident”?

In the BTS new album BTS Map of The Soul: 7, there is one particular song about friendship titled “Friends.” This playful song is singing by Jimin and V, who have been friends since high school. Jimin, V, and Love & Hate Friendship

Seven members of Bangtan Boys have been living and working together for seven years. Making great music and pleasing all K-Pop fans all over the world with their outstanding performance, and going through all thick and thin in their career. At first, for seven beautiful beings with colorful characters who are united in the same boat named BTS might found it hard to adapt to each other. But they must do it anyway to have a solid boyband.

Jimin and V had known each other before they became trainees in Big Hit Entertainment. Jimin moved to Seoul and went to the same school as V. Obviously, they have been through many ups and downs before they have their first debut and up until now. They even call themselves soulmates.

The Dumpling Incident

Jimin, who contributed to this song, wrote about his unique friendship with V. But then, there is a part of the song that tells about the “dumpling accident,” which makes the ARMYs curious about it.

V explained that he was arguing with Jimin about when to eat the dumplings, “It was Team Eat-After-Dancing vs. Team Eat-While-Dancing,”

Recently, after singing “ON” in “Carpool Karaoke” James Corden asked the most members who are the most likely to argue. Then Suga answered it calmly “Jimin and V.” Further, when James asked what made them disagree, Jungkook directly spilled the beans by saying, “Mandu, mandu,” with V agreed by saying “Mandu,” which means Dumplings.

There are many songs about friendship in BTS’s albums. Such as Good Day, Spring Day, You Never Walk Alone, Moving On, Begin, Mikrokosmos (which is dedicated to ARMY as well), and FRIENDS, are the songs that portray the Bangtan Boys friendship in this seven years.
