On July 5, Korean media reported that prominent actor Jung Hae In of “Snowdrop” drama had received an offer to play in the new upcoming sequel of “Veteran” movie. The same day also revealed the great news that “Snowdrop” had won multiple awards in Brazil.
What is the “Veteran” Film About?
In its 2015 prequel, “Veteran” was a blockbuster crime acting movie starring Hwang Jung Min, Yoo Ah In, Yu Hae Jin, and Oh Dal Su.
The movie tells the story of persistent detective Seo Do Cheol (Hwang Jung Min), who relentlessly pursues the tyrannical heir of an untouchable Korean mega-corporation, Jo Tae Oh (Yoo Ah In). The confrontations between the veteran detective and the villain heir were so intense that they attracted around 13.42 million viewers.
Jung Hae In Will be Getting a New Role in “Veteran” Movie Sequel
So, what role will Jung Hae In play in the upcoming sequel of the “Veteran” movie?
Reports mentioned on June 5 that Jung Hae In would be getting a brand new role, leading the sequel in a refreshing direction. And even though his new character is still under development, industry representatives expected that Jung Hae In would be making an impactful transformation. In addition, he will most likely challenge Yoo Ah In’s skills as the villain role in the previous “Veteran” movie.
Having Jung Hae In create a new transformation in new drama and movie is never a surprise. After all, since his acting debut in 2014, Jung Hae In has transformed into different characters and personalities. The first upcoming drama project of Jung Hae In is the second season of the Netflix “D.P.” series. The project is currently still in development, but Jung Hae In will most likely return as the main role, Ahn Joon Ho.
Along with “D.P.” Season 2, Jung Hae In is also working on an upcoming Disney+ drama, “Connect”. It tells the story of a person losing parts of his body to organ hunters and building a particular “connection” with the organ receiver. Jung Hae In will star as one of the main roles, along with Go Kyung Pyo and Kim Hye Joon.
