On November 8, as reported by Korean news outlet JTBC, “Squid Game” actress Jeong HoYeon (27) was confirmed to make a special appearance in the upcoming new Korean drama series “Chicken Nugget” on Netflix. It is a comedy mystery drama adapted from the popular Webtoon of the same name by Park Ji Dok.
The upcoming drama tells the story of a girl who turned into a nugget after entering a mysterious machine. Her father and his employee struggle to recover her and solve the mystery.
Jeong Ho Yeon’s special appearance in the upcoming Netflix original series will mark her first Korean drama series project after “Squid Game.” And although she will only appear as a cameo, her upcoming special appearance has raised the expectations and excitement of Korean drama fans.
As she will team up with Ryoo Seung Ryong, Ahn Jae Hong, and Kim Yoo Jung in the upcoming drama, her special appearance is expected to boost the drama series. Furthermore, the forthcoming drama “Chicken Nugget” will have 12 episodes directed by director Lee Byung-hun.

Jung HoYeon’s debut role in “Squid Game” has earned the actress a lot of popularity and success. And with her brilliant acting, she became the only rookie actress to set the first record with an unprecedented global syndrome.
The actress has received a number of nominations and awards. Recently, she was named as the only Korean actor to be included in the 2022 “TIME 100 Next” list under the phenoms category. Her name is among stars such as Sydney Sweeney, Ja Morant, Simone Ashley, and Finneas.

Previously, Jung HoYeon had received several overseas projects. Those are the Apple TV thriller series “Disclaimer” by director Alfonso Cuarón and “The Governesses,” a new film by Joe Talbot.
