Korean promising rookie actress Jung Ji So is slowly but steadily climbing to the top tier of prominent Korean actors. After her recent praiseworthy performance in the award-winning Parasite movie and as the teenage version of Moon Dong Eun in The Glory, Jung Ji So further proved her profound acting skills and deep understanding of human emotions.
Despite her young age, her ability to match Song Hye Kyo’s acting, turning Moon Dong Eun’s character to a perfect synchronization, has proved her immense dedication to her role. And today, we will get the chance to see such commitment once again as Jung Ji So will reportedly lead a new drama very soon.
And not only that, but Jung Ji So new drama will most possibly gain massive attention, as it is a remake of a 2014 hit project, Miss Granny Korean movie.
Based on My Daily and Herald POP reports, the 2014 hit Korean movie Miss Granny would soon turn into a new drama with actress Jung Ji So as the main cast.
The new remake of Miss Granny Korean movie falls under the leadership of director Park Yong Soon (49 Days & Divorce Lawyer in Love). And writer Heo Sung Min of Risky Romance will turn the movie into a full-fledged drama script.

MISS GRANNY Korean Movie: What is it About?
Miss Granny tells the story of a 70-year-old grandmother, Oh Mal Soon, played by veteran actress Na Moon Hee. Due to uncertain reasons, Oh Mal Soon mysteriously regains her physical appearance as a 20-year-old young woman after having her photo taken at a studio. Oh Mal Soon then changed her name to Oh Doo Ri (played by Shim Eun Kyung) and once again enjoyed her golden age experience.
In Miss Granny new drama, Jung Ji So will take on previously Shim Eun Kyung’s role as Oh Doo Ri. With over 10 years of acting as a young actress, Jung Ji So will have to portray a character with a wisdom and life experience of a 70-year-old grandmother. And at the same time, she will have to embrace the joy of reliving the experience of youth that she had lost.
