Jung Kyung Ho and Jeon Do Yeon Caught Up in a Bittersweet Scandal in tvN’s New Romance Drama “One-Shot Scandal”
On June 21, tvN has confirmed actor Jung Kyung Ho and actress Jeon Do Yeon will lead their upcoming romance-comedy drama “One-Shot Scandal.” The drama will depict a lovely, heartbreaking, and sympathetic story amid the tough battle in the admission exam process.
Director Yoo Jae Won, who directed the healing drama “Hometwon Cha-Cha-Cha,” will lead the series. Meanwhile, writer Yang Hee Seung who previously worked on the popular drama “Familiar Wife,” will write the script. Both director and writer have worked together in other Korean dramas, “Oh My Ghostess” and “King of High School.”
The upcoming new drama “One-Shot Scandal” will follow the bittersweet scandal between an owner of a side dish shop named Nam Haeng Sun and a top instructor, Choi Chi Yeol.
Synopsis
Jeon Do Yeon will take the role of Nam Haeng Sun, a firm and optimistic woman. She is a former national athlete and a side dish shop owner. Nam Haeng Sun unexpectedly gets entangled with Choi Chi Yeol after she belatedly the world of entrance exams.
Meanwhile, Jung Kyung Ho will play the role of Choi Chi Yeol. He is a brilliant man and a popular instructor who works in Korea’s No. 1 private education company. However, being popular makes him an obnoxious and ignorant person towards others.
The new Korean drama “One-Shot Scandal” is scheduled to premiere sometime in the first half of 2023 on tvN.
