Representing their Kpop boy group, Stray Kids, JYP Entertainment claims to have delivered legal actions towards the people who have invaded Stray Kids members’ privacy and violated their personal rights.
Stay Kids’ fans—known as STAY—who have literally STAYed with SKZ since their debut in 2017, expressed their relief on social media and rooted for JYP to have finally taken the right action.

JYP Entertainment Releases a Statement for Actions Towards Stray Kids Stalking Incident and Privacy Violation
A statement from JYP Entertainment was released on May 18 that the company had carried out legal actions against those who have continuously invaded Stray Kids’ privacy and violate their basic rights.
JYP also mentioned that they are preparing to continue the legal actions even further, including filing criminal and civil complaints to the people who have spread false rumors about Stray Kids.
The following statement was released by JYP Entertainment:
“Hello, this is JYP Entertainment.
We are informing you about the progress of our legal response to the violation of our artist’s rights.
“We previously announced that we would take strong legal action in cases where our artist’s basic rights, including their privacy and personal rights, were violated. In spite of this, there has been repeated senseless behavior [by certain individuals], and as a result, our artist is currently enduring severe psychological suffering.
Therefore, after obtaining evidence and witness testimony about the individuals who are routinely violating our artist’s privacy and basic rights, we have taken legal action against them, and with the help of an investigative agency, we are currently preparing to file additional legal complaints.
Additionally, we are currently gathering evidence about criminal acts that defame and insult our artist’s character, such as the spreading of falsehoods or malicious calumny about Stray Kids, through our own monitoring; and in keeping with company procedure, we plan to take strong civil and/or criminal action in response. There will be no leniency or settlements in our response.Once again, we are notifying you that in the future, we will continue to take strong legal action without leniency against all acts that violate our artist’s personal rights and that hinder their ability to promote safely. We also ask fans to actively report any evidence they may have gathered related to these sorts of illegal acts.
Thank you.”

Stray Kids Stalking: Seungmin Complains about Sasaeng fans
In March 2021, Stray Kids Seungmin posted on the Lysn Messenger, protesting about the sasaeng fans who had been stalking them everywhere. He voiced his distress to the fans and wrote:
“What is with these Sasaengs who wait in front of our dorms even until this time invading our privacy…? There are so many people who are being affected, including the company’s bodyguards, the staff members, and even the residents! I’m sorry I wrote this here where so many of our Stays who support us have to see this.” – Stray Kids Seungmin.
Fans immediately reacted to this post and expressed their anger towards the sasaengs on social media. They hoped JYP Entertainment would do something regarding this privacy infringement.
SKZ Protection Squad aka STAYs are always ready to protect SKZ from those sasaeng fans.
