December 2025 K-Pop Girl Group Brand Reputation Rankings
The Korean Business Research Institute conducted this month’s big data analysis of girl group brand reputation. It analyzed 52,664,307 pieces of brand big data collected from November 14 to December 14, 2025, measuring each group’s participation, media, communication, and community indices. Compared with 55,356,192 pieces of data from November, the total volume of girl group brand data decreased by 4.86% this month.

1. IVE
K-pop girl group IVE—who recently unveiled the first Asian dates for their 2026 “SHOW WHAT I AM” world tour—claimed the top position with a Brand Reputation Index of 5,579,470, marking a 13.64% increase from November’s 4,909,878.
Their strongest performance came in the community index (2,594,616) and the communication index (1,834,225), showing strong fan engagement and active conversation around their content.
In the keyword analysis, IVE was most associated with “Rebel Heart,” “Jang Won-young,” and “Song of the Year,”and they maintained a high 93.59% favorable sentiment ratio. Their media index (1,032,921) was also the highest among all groups, reflecting strong mainstream attention.
2. BLACKPINK
In second place, BLACKPINK—who are set to make a comeback in 2026—recorded a participation index of 63,172, media index of 823,300, communication index of 1,360,896, and community index of 3,051,905.
Their Brand Reputation Index was 5,299,273, a 26.53% decrease from 7,212,497 in November.
3. LE SSERAFIM
Taking third place, LE SSERAFIM continued to stay on the radar after winning the Daesang for “Music Icon of the Year” and the Best Artist (Singer) award at the 2025 Asia Artist Awards (AAA)—a strong signal of their influence in 2025.
They posted a participation index of 88,536, a media index of 353,344, a communication index of 1,290,857, and a community index of 1,397,423. Their Brand Reputation Index came in at 3,130,161, a 3.58% decrease from 3,246,379in November.
4. TWICE
In fourth place, TWICE, who celebrate their 10th anniversary on December 28, recorded a participation index of 64,056, media index of 1,005,899, communication index of 717,838, and community index of 1,339,133.
Their Brand Reputation Index was 3,126,926, representing a steep 35.59% drop from 4,854,402 in November.
5. Red Velvet
Rounding out the top five, Red Velvet maintained a steady presence, supported by ongoing individual activities. In late 2025, Irene served as an MC for the 2025 Korea Grand Music Awards (Artist Day ceremony), Joy took on a lead role in a new drama, and Yeri signed with a new agency for her acting career.
The group earned a participation index of 28,220, a media index of 731,937, a communication index of 956,130, and a community index of 1,018,168. Their Brand Reputation Index was 2,734,454 in December, which shows a 4.33% decline from 2,858,349 in November.
