Kang Mi Na to Star in the New Superhero Drama “Twelve”
According to an exclusive report by OSEN on October 2, singer-actress Kang Mi Na, also known as Mina, will star in the new Korean superhero drama series “Twelve.” However, her agency, Story J Company, has not confirmed this casting news yet.
“Twelve” follows the story of heroes representing the 12 zodiac signs who strive to protect the Korean Peninsula from evil spirits.
Kang Dae Gyoo, renowned for his work on films such as “Pawn,” “Harmony,” “Tidal Wave,” and “He Was Cool,” will direct the series. Furthermore, Big Punch Pictures, Novafilm, and Content G will handle the production.
As previously reported, actors Ma Dong Seok, Ji Chang Wook, and Seo In Guk have received offers to lead the series. They are positively considering their participation.
With an impressive lineup of top actors, the exciting casting news of Kang Mi Na joining the series has heightened expectations. Fans are eager to see whether she will share the screen with them and what character she will portray.

Kang Mi Na debuted as a Kpop idol in 2016 with the girl group I.O.I. After their activities concluded, Mina pursued her passion by joining another Kpop girl group, Gugudan.
In 2017, she made her acting debut with the MBC drama “20th Century Boy and Girl.” Since then, she has showcased her acting skills through various dramas and films. Her impressive works include “The History of Walking Upright,” “Dokgo Rewind,” “Hotel Del Luna,” “Moonshine,” “Café Minamdang,” “Welcome to Samdal-ri,” and many more.
Furthermore, Mina will star in the new youth romance movie “Love Untangled“ alongside Gong Myung and Shin Eun Soo.
If she is confirmed to star in “Twelve,” this series will reunite Mina with Ji Chang Wook and Seo In Guk. In the 2022 drama “Café Minamdang,” she worked with Seo In Guk, Oh Yeon Seo, and Kwak Shi Yang. Meanwhile, in the 2023 drama “Welcome to Samdal-ri,” she worked alongside Ji Chang Wook and Shin Hye Sun.
“Twelve” is gearing up for release next year. However, the specific platform for its release has yet to be determined.
