KBS Entertainment Awards 2022 Winners
The KBS Entertainment Awards ceremony is an annual celebration of the network’s outstanding performances in entertainment and variety shows. And this year, entertainer Moon Se Yoon hosted the KBS Entertainment Awards ceremony along with actress Seol In Ah and idol-actor Chan Hee of SF9.
The Grand Prize (Daesang) went to Shin Dong Yup this year. The host of the program Immortal Songs received his third grand prize from KBS. Interestingly, each grand prize he received has a gap of 10 years. Besides the grand prize, the host of SNL Korea also took home the Entertainer of the Year award alongside Kim Sook, Jun Hyun Moo, Kim Jong Min, and Lee Kyung Kyu. In addition, his program Immortal Songs also won the Viewers’ Choice Best Program Award for the first time since 2011.
Furthermore, the 20th Anniversary Special Achievement Award went to the late Song Hae, who hosted the National Singing Contest for more than 30 years. Shin Dong Yup, who presented the award, remarked,
“I believe that we all owe this person a debt of appreciation. For more than 30 years, he had traveled the entire nation, sharing the music and stories of many different individuals with the public.”

He also expressed his love and respect for the late artist by saying,
“I respect and love you so much, and I think everyone feels the same way.”
