On March 17, CJ ENM announced the biggest Kpop festival, KCON, will finally comeback offline this year. The top Korean culture event was held for the first time in 2012, and it will return to spread the Korean wave abroad.

The festival promotes Korean music, beauty, drama, and food. The event also brings Kpop music and its artists closer to their fans abroad.

The star-studded Kpop festival KCON will be held offline in South Korea, Japan, and the USA for the first time in two years.

According to CJ ENM, the “KCON 2022 Premiere,” which will be held in May, is the special kick-off before the main event, “KCON 2022”.

Locations & Dates

KCON 2022 Premiere kick-off will be held on May 2022 in three big cities: Seoul, Tokyo, and Chicago for three weeks before the main event, KCON 2022, in LA and Japan.

7, 8 – Seoul at the CJ ENM center.
14,15 – Tokyo at Chiba Makuhari Messe.
20, 21 – Chicago at Rosemont Theatre.

The main event, KCON LA 2022, will be held on August 19-21 in Los Angeles, California, followed by KCON Japan in October (dates to be announced).

How to Watch the KCON 2022 Premiere?

For Kpop fans who live in South Korea, Japan, and the USA, you can watch your favorite Kpop artists live and in-person in several locations mentioned above. However, if you live in other countries, worry not! You can still enjoy the Kpop artists’ stage performances on KCON official YouTube. Meanwhile, the offline and online concert tickets have yet to be announced.
