KCON LA Announces 2024 Lineup Hosts: Rowoon, Jeon Somi, and Kim Soo Hyun!
If you are an avid Kpop fan, you will agree that KCON is one of the greatest overseas Korean hallyu festivals that have been highly anticipated. This year, KCON LA 2024 has raised the game with impressive lineup performers, and most importantly, its hosts!
On June 11, KCON LA announced the lineup hosts who will lead the upcoming 2024 event. According to the announcement, the lineup hosts for this year are: Rowoon, Jeon Somi, and—surprisingly—the “Queen of Tears” actor Kim Soo Hyun!
Former SF9 member and rising actor Rowoon will be hosting the event for July 26 (Friday). Meanwhile Kpop soloist and entrepreneur Jeon Somi will greet fans on July 27 (Saturday).
And this is where it gets even more excited! South Korea’s most expensive actor and “Queen of Tears” global star Kim Soo Hyun will be gracing KCON LA 2024 the host for the finale on July 28 (Sunday).
Fans Are Unexpectedly Disappointed!
With such amazing lineup hosts, fans are hugely anticipating the upcoming KCON 2024 in LA! Some fans even questioned how KCON managed to invite Kim Soo Hyun this year. After all, not only Kim Soo Hyun is currently the highest-paid actor in South Korea right now, his skyrocketing fame after “Queen of Tears” has definitely resulted in massive boost in his appearance fee.
At the same time, some other fans expressed their massive disappointment after the announcement came out.
Unlike other similar cases, these fans were not upset about the host selection for this year’s KCON. Instead, they complained because KCON made the announcement very late.
That is why, they were hoping that KCON LA had announced the lineup hosts earlier before the ticket sales. After all, for this year’s event, fans are most likely coming to see the hosts instead.
