“Sky Castle” Couple Kim Byung Chul and Yoon Se Ah Reunited in New Drama
The renowned couple from the Korean drama “Sky Castle” Kim Byung Chul and Yoon Se Ah, will soon reunite for a family-thriller drama.
On August 9, the production team of “Perfect Family” confirmed that actor Kim Byung Chul would appear in the new webtoon-based drama. Meanwhile, on August 10, actress Yoon Se Ah confirmed she would also star as Kim Byung Chul’s wife in the drama.
The confirmation sparks exciting anticipation for the couple’s reunion and chemistry after their incredible performance in “Sky Castle”.
Along with the “Sky Castle” couple, young actress Park Ju Hyun had also been in talks to portray the “Perfect Family” main character, Choi Seon Hee.
Previously, actress Jung Ji Soo was initially offered the role. However, Korean media outlet OSEN reported on August 9 that Park Ju Hyun would be taking it on.
Since debuting in tvN’s “Drama Stage – Wife’s Bed” in 2019, Park Ju Hyun has gained fame as South Korea’s standout rookie, particularly for her role in Netflix’s “Extracurricular”. Her performances in “Love All Play”, “Mouse”, and “The Forbidden Marriage” further solidified her reputation.
“Perfect Family”: The Duality of a Psychopathic Family
Based on a webtoon with the same title, “Perfect Family” new drama tells the story of the duality of a psychopathic family. It begins with the main character Choi Seon Hee who gets adopted into a seemingly perfect family. But one day, Seon Hee experiences the death of her friend, Kyung Ho. And starting from that event, everything begins to change.
Young actress Park Ju Hyun will portray Choi Seon Hee. She is the main character who will lead and determine the central narrative of the drama. And that is especially with her involvement in the death of her friend, Kyung Ho.
Experienced and versatile actor Kim Byung Chul will enter the story as Seon Hee’s adoptive father, Choi Jin Hyeok. As one of the most successful lawyers at a corporate law firm, Choi Jin Hyeok seems to be the perfect father with his abundant wealth, calm, rational, and meticulous personality, as well as a gentle smile.
Moreover, he even became a lawyer after quitting his profession as a prosecutor. And he did it to protect his daughter, Seon Hee. His involvement in Seon Hee’s case sparks high anticipation about the kind of efforts he will make as the story unfolds.
Finally, actress Yoon Se Ah takes on the role of Seon Hee’s adoptive mother, Ha Eun Joo. She was the one who wanted to adopt Seon Hee. And she did it after losing her son due to a horrible accident of injustice. In the beginning, she looks like your ordinary stay-at-home mom. However, once Seon Hee’s involvement in Kyung Ho’s death is revealed, her true nature begins to emerge.
