Kim Da Mi In Talks to Lead in a New Movie “The Great Flood”
On June 2, Korean media outlets reported that Kim Da Mi is in talks to star in a new movie, “The Great Flood” (literal title). In response to the reports, Kim Da Mi’s agency ANDMARQ conveyed that the actress is currently reviewing the offer positively.
Moreover, the upcoming movie is currently in discussion with Netflix for its release. Kim Da Mi’s previous dramas, “Itaewon Class” and “Our Beloved Summer,” were released on Netflix and topped the charts on Japan’s Netflix.
Recently, the film affiliates posted a job opening for its film staff. This could be a clue that the film has recruited the lead actress and will be released on Netflix.
One of the insiders said,
“As far as I know, we are at the final stage of recruiting Kim Da Mi. We have faith in Kim since she shown her excellent capability as a lead actress in Itaewon Class and Our Beloved Summer.”

According to the report, Kim Byung Woo will direct the movie, following the previous film “The Terror Live” and “Take Point.” The next film will portray the situation of a person caught in an endless cycle of time.
In addition, Light of Fantasies, a new production company by producer Jeon Ryeo Kyu, will produce the movie. Producer Jeon Ryeo Kyung also participated in director Kim’s movie hit “The Terror Live.” Unfortunately, there are no further details yet regarding the broadcast date, filming, cast lineup, and more.
