Kim Garam Officially Leaves LE SSERAFIM, According to HYBE & Source Music Statement
After months and months of controversies, HYBE and Source Music decided for Kim Garam to leave LE SSERAFIM for good.
On July 20, Source Music of HYBE released an official statement about Kim Garam contract termination. The company decided that Kim Garam leaves LE SSERAFIM for good and apologize to fans who have supported her.
“Our company decided to terminate the exclusive contract with Kim Garam.”

LE SSERAFIM to Continue as a 5-Member Girl Group
With Kim Garam officially leaving, Source Music of HYBE also announced in the statement that LE SSERAFIM will continue promoting as 5 members.
Indeed, being a 5-member girl group may have clashed hard with the original concept and image of the group. However, until this point, HYBE and Source Music did not reveal any plan to replace Kim Garam with a new member.
