Responding to the previous demands from Kim Sae Ron’s bereaved family, YouTuber Lee Jin Ho decided to release more videos to claim his innocence.
On March 20, the YouTuber released two videos titled, “Shocking Recording! The Real Reason Why Kim Sae Ron Was Struggling” and “Exposing Garoseoro Research Institute’s Falsehood! Suing Kim Sae Ron’s Fake Aunt.”
In these two videos, Lee Jin Ho supposedly revealed the alleged reason behind Kim Sae Ron actual cause of death.
According to Lee Jin Ho, the reason for Kim Sae Ron’s passing was due to her alleged husband, whom she married in the U.S. In one video, Lee Jin Ho even released a phone conversation recording with Kim Sae Ron’s alleged close friend. And during the conversation, the friend claimed that Kim Sae Ron was in an abusive relationship.

In the video he posted, Lee Jin Ho released audio recordings between alleged staff member “A” of Kim Sae Ron new agency (after she left GOLDMEDALIST) and an alleged best friend “B”.

B: He abused and threatened her. She once showed me a picture of a cut on her neck and told me it was real. I just told her how awful that must have been.
When she first moved to the U.S., I was living in [redacted], so she’d come over for meals and just talk about all sorts of things. We stayed in touch here and there, and two days ago, I went to Seoul to see her.

Lee Jin Ho is Suing Kim Sae Ron’s Family for Defamation
The first video focused more on the alleged reason behind Kim Sae Ron cause of death. Yet, the second video was about Lee Jin Ho defending himself.
In the second video, Lee Jin Ho claimed that all the accusations against him stemmed from Kim Sae Ron’s so-called “aunt,” whom he called a “fake aunt” since they weren’t actually related by blood.
Because of this, he announced that he would be taking legal action against her for defamation. He also accused her of spreading false information and emphasized that she wasn’t a real family member.
Kim Soo Hyun Also Suing Kim Sae Ron Family
Moreover, Kim Soo Hyun is now officially suing the bereaved family of Kim Sae Ron over a leaked private photo.
On March 20, GOLDMEDALIST announced that they had filed a criminal complaint against Kim Se Eui, the YouTuber behind Garosero Research Institute, and an unnamed person claiming to be Kim Sae Ron’s aunt. The lawsuit alleges that they were responsible for leaking and spreading an inappropriate photo of Kim Soo Hyun without his consent.
According to GOLDMEDALIST, the photo was taken during a private moment when Kim Soo Hyun and Kim Sae Ron were adults and reportedly dating. The agency stressed that the image should have never been made public and called it a serious invasion of privacy.
Additionally, Garosero allegedly threatened to release even more photos. Hence, it pushed the agency to take strong legal action. GOLDMEDALIST also warned that if false information about Kim Soo Hyun continues to spread, they won’t hesitate to pursue further lawsuits to protect his reputation.
Meanwhile, GOLDMEDALIST is reportedly preparing an official apology at the moment. The company would also reveal some of Kim Sae Ron’s crucial activities prior to her death.
Underage Dating & Child Grooming Remain a Mystery
Finally, the controversy between Kim Soo Hyun and Kim Sae Ron death cause and reason keeps on unfolding. As of today, no evidence has officially tied Kim Soo Hyun to the tragic passing of Kim Sae Ron. Therefore, Kim Soo Hyun may not become the direct reason for Kim Sae Ron’s death.
However, questions still linger about whether Kim Soo Hyun had truly dated Kim Sae Ron when she was a minor. This would then result in further ramifications, causing the public to question Kim Sae Ron’s mental state at the time of her death.
