On April 7, Korean media reported that famous actor Kim Soo Hyun had received an offer from “Crash Landing on You” writer Park Ji Eun for her new drama, “The Queen of Tears”. Immediately after the news broke on the internet and social media, Kim Soo Hyun refuted the report that he would be starring in the new drama.

The minute the reports about Kim Soo Hyun starring in a new drama by “Crash Landing on You” writer Park Ji Eun started viral, his agency released an official statement.
In the official statement, Kim Soo Hyun’s agency, Gold Medalist, clarified that he was not going to star in the drama because he had received NO offer in the first place. The agency further explained that they had only received inquiries about Kim Soo Hyun’s schedule. But then, no official offer was sent to the agency or the actor himself.
“We had only received inquiries about Kim Soo Hyun’s schedule. And we haven’t received any official offers, such as a proposal or script.”
