As reported by JoyNews24 on June 14, Kim Woo Bin has been cast as the lead in the upcoming Korean action film titled Martial Arts Officer (literal title). According to the report, AM Entertainment, Kim Woo Bin’s agency, has confirmed this casting and stated,
“Kim Woo-bin has received an offer to appear in the movie Martial Arts Officer, and currently is reviewing it positively.”

The upcoming Korean action movie marks the new project of renowned director and scriptwriter Kim Jo Hwan, also known as Jason Kim. Kim Jo Hwan has gained recognition for his popular films, including Midnight Runners (2017), The Divine Fury (2019), and My Heart Puppy (2023).
Recently, Kim Jo Hwan (Jason Kim) made his debut on Netflix with his first series, Bloodhounds. This action-thriller Korean drama series, which he both wrote and directed, has captivated the hearts of Korean drama lovers. Within just three days of its release, the series achieved an astounding 27.97 million views, showcasing its immense popularity.
Korean Action Movie MARTIAL ARTS OFFICER
Martial Arts Officer is an exhilarating Korean action movie that revolves around an extraordinary martial arts practitioner under an unlimited contract with the Ministry of Justice. The story centers on his role in assisting probation officers and monitoring prisoners wearing electronic monitoring ankle bracelets.
Furthermore, he is also responsible for preventing all forms of violence, including verbal and physical, within the community. Due to the nature of his job, his expertise in martial arts techniques is crucial.
According to the reports, Martial Arts Officer is currently in the casting process. The filming schedule is expected to start in the second half of this year.
